DESCRIPTION

The P&C’s High Notes for September 1957 announced:
PlaceMcKay SportsgroundTaxonomyLocations | McKay SportsgroundThis is a large project and it is hoped to complete the work in one day. To do this many workers are required to dig post holes, prepare the posts and rails, concrete the posts in position, attach the rails and paint the fence as it progresses.
No experience of any kind is required as skilled men are to be in charge of each operation; but many hands make the task easier. All fathers interested in McKay Oval are therefore urged to come along at 9 a.m. on this day - bring your lunch.
